What are we talking about here on this blog?
3D Interactive Light Sculpture

This blog is about a new and evolving art form and the artists that are creating it. Its open to all. Not patented. Not controlled by a few insiders.

An art form that needs to be displayed. It has no limits! It's scale can surround buildings, open spaces. fill a room, or sit on table top.

Interactive
We're talking real interactive, dynamic every changing entertaining, responding to music, sound, touch, motion. Appearing alive, lifelike, always transforming into new forms and shapes.

3 Dimensional
We're talking real 3D. like real life. taking up real space. The kind you can walk around, almost touch. Not optical illusions, reworked from earlier 19th century stereoscopic  viewers.

Light
We're talking about light. All important - "let there be light". That illusive energy that makes life exciting. Moving and always changing, different, and unpredictable. Compelling and mesmerizing.

Sculpture
We're talking sculpture. An art form as old as man. intriguing and captivating. creating a new reality with our own hands. An object that stands alone without the projected light forms. It is sculpture that draws us in and makes us think. More than flat images it uses our full binocular capabilities of our total brain.
