This is a blog about a new and evolving art form and the artist's challenges to develop it. This art form is called: Interactive Three Dimensional Light Sculpture. It combines traditional sculpture, and computer technology. It interacts with music, touch and motion. It allows music to be seen in three dimensions. Various applications include: Art Exhibits, Light Shows, 3D video games, and Heads-up Technology.

Bornstein's interactive 3D light-sculpture collaborates with Austin's rock scene.
Bornstein helped his musician friend, Adrian Archuleta at a recent rock performance in Austin Texas.
It was a bit tricky setting up real quick to accommodate the busy musicians' line up. Everything went up in 5 minutes and came down even quicker. We put up our screen both in front and a sculpture behind the the two man band.
This Demo showed the possibility of using Interactive 3 Light Sculpture as an accompaniment to live music.
